The 5th edition of the event will be offering an ideal information platform for energy-efficient optimisation of systems in process engineering applications between 8 and 10 April 2014, with its core components – heat exchangers, heat transfer technology and industrial waste heat recovery.

The Fair will be held at Karlsruhe Trade Fair Center in conjunction with the 5th PaintExpo – Leading International Trade Fair for Industrial Coating Technology – and the 1st HallTec – Trade Fair for Technical Building Equipment in Industrial and Commercial Building Construction – for the first time this year. Coating technology, in particular, and the associated drying processes – which constitute the tie-up with the PaintExpo – offer considerable thermal discharge potential, making heat recovery an issue that plays a significant role. Heat exchangers or heat pumps can be used to route waste heat back into the process cycle where it can be used again. HallTec offers building services engineering system solutions for optimum use of energy. Such systems can use energy produced by processes to heat, ventilate and air condition industrial buildings, for example, and can be combined with solar power, photovoltaic and/or optimised hall heating, (LED) lighting and waste water heat recovery systems to achieve a considerable improvement in the energy balance of buildings and contribute towards sustainable savings in primary energies and the associated costs.

WTT-expo

“We are currently chalking up 93 exhibitors from 11 countries and 35 options for the WTT-Expo. Before the fair opens its doors, we are expecting 120 exhibitors to have registered for the WTT-Expo and 40 exhibitors to have registered for the HallTec” Britta Wirtz, managing director of Karlsruhe Messe- und Kongress-GmbH (KMK), explains. Costante Sesino will be for the first time among the exhibitors in the new Italian pavilion.
